TEC Hosts Ethiopian Delegation for Innovation Exchange
The Technology and Entrepreneurship Center (TEC) welcomed a delegation from Ethiopia on March 5, 2025, as part of a benchmarking visit supported by the RISA Fund and led by Ethiopia’s Ministry of Education. The visit aimed to explore Ghana’s innovation hub ecosystem, focusing on higher education institutions and their role in research commercialization and technology transfer.
During the session, the delegation engaged with the TEC team and other key members of the university community on startup initiatives, maker community activities at MakeLab, and hub management strategies. Recognizing Academic City University as a key player in the innovation space, the exchange fostered discussions on best practices and potential future collaborations between Ghana and Ethiopia.
