On June 19, 2024, the Technology and Entrepreneurship Center (TEC) at Academic City University College hosted Prof. Daniel Wubah, President of Millersville University, along with three Millersville University students and Dr. Jack Ogutu, Department Chair for the Applied Engineering, Safety, and Technology Department. The visit highlighted TEC’s innovative projects and fostered a dynamic exchange of ideas and collaboration.

The event began with an overview of TEC’s advancements and future plans, followed by Dr. Lucy Ayepong’s presentation on Academic City’s industry-focused courses. Student interns showcased the Sustain City initiative and Sustain City 2.0 Summer project, which focus on building machines for plastic waste recycling to promote sustainability and hands-on learning.

Millersville University students contributed significantly to the event, demonstrating their expertise in injection molding technology and presenting impactful projects and prototypes. Dr. Ogutu also shared valuable insights, emphasizing the importance of international collaboration and innovation.

The visit underscored the strong partnership between Academic City University College and Millersville University, celebrating TEC’s pivotal role in advancing technology and entrepreneurship.
