The recent IoT workshop at ACity TEC brought together a lively mix of students and industry professionals, marking a significant achievement. As part of the Embedded Learning challenge, the workshop aimed to equip participants with practical skills in designing, building, and deploying IoT solutions.

With over 22 eager participants, the workshop provided hands-on experience with real-world IoT devices, sensors, and microcontrollers. Led by experts Derrick Sosoo and Dominica Oforiwaa Amanfo, attendees delved into crucial IoT topics such as MQTT and wireless communication. They collaborated in teams to develop prototypes for diverse fields like agriculture and healthcare.

Beyond learning, the workshop fostered valuable networking opportunities. Participants exchanged ideas and formed teams for future projects, laying the groundwork for continued collaboration.

As participants departed with newfound skills and inspiration, the impact of this workshop promises to extend far beyond its conclusion. ARM (E3) NGAGE is a key partner at the TEC  and has a dedicated electronics lab under the center that provides various support for partner and student projects. Special thanks to ARM (E3)NGAGE and ACity TEC for their support in making this event possible.
