ETHOS 2025 Is Underway : Building for Impact, Together
We’re excited to officially kick off this year’s ETHOS Summer Exchange. We’re hosting two students from the University of Dayton who will be working closely with five Academic City students over the next 11 weeks.
Together, they’ll be designing and building robotic arms and full robotics kits using 3D printing filament made in-house from recycled plastic bottles. The goal? To support robotics education in schools across the country.
This year’s project builds on the work we began last year combining hands-on engineering with real-world social impact. Alongside the technical work, the program includes weekly learning sessions, cultural activities, and space for reflection and collaboration.
We’ve already had our first stakeholder meeting, and there’s a strong sense of purpose among the team. It’s going to be a good summer.
