Baby Monitoring Sensor
Ensuring the safety of babies is a top priority for parents and caretakers. That is why our students have proposed a project to address the risk of babies falling from a bed while sleeping or playing. The project utilizes passive infrared sensors (PIR sensors) to detect when a baby is about to fall from the bed and trigger an alarm to alert the caretaker. By using a combination of the PIR sensor and the ESP8266 WEMOS microcontroller, the monitoring system sends notifications to a mobile phone, providing real-time updates on the baby’s presence on the bed.
