TRAFFIC VIOLATION DETECTION SYSTEM

In response to the escalating challenges posed by traffic violations in urban areas, our groundbreaking project introduces a comprehensive Traffic Violation Detection System. The surge in city traffic has intensified the need for effective solutions to mitigate infractions, which often result in severe consequences.

Our innovative system combines cutting-edge technologies, including image processing techniques, computer vision algorithms, and seamless web integration, to create a robust mechanism for identifying and penalizing traffic violators. Within a mini traffic environment, strategically positioned cameras and sensors capture real-time images and videos of vehicles. Leveraging advanced image processing, the system precisely extracts license plate details and recognizes characters, enabling accurate identification of violations such as speeding and red-light infractions.

Detected violations trigger the automatic generation of fines, promptly communicated to respective drivers through a dedicated website. This proactive approach not only streamlines the enforcement process but also fosters transparency and accountability. The integration of web-based communication ensures efficient collaboration between the system and traffic enforcement authorities, enabling them to respond swiftly to violations and maintain a safer urban road environment.
