The Technology and Engineering Center (TEC) collaborated with the Admissions Department to organize an educational event for 140 senior high school students selected from various international and public schools. The purpose of the event was to provide the students with an opportunity to gain insights into the practical applications of emerging technologies. Participating schools included Galaxy International, The Roman Ridge School, Saint Mary’s, Accra Girls School, and Saint Thomas Aquinas School.

During the event, the students were engaged in a range of activities, such as creating upcycled items from plastic waste, playing light pong games, simulating disasters using our Augmented Reality Sandbox, 3D printing, and making plastic sheets from pure water sachet waste. The goal of these activities was to enable the students to experience hands-on learning in emerging technology fields, which are increasingly relevant in today’s world.
